Extraordinarily good game. A bit short, but very fun especially with co-op. Level design is top quality.

No reviews yet?? This game is great!

Aesthetics are spot on, genuinely feels like I'm playing via an emulator at times. Very much crafted by someone who actually remembers what retro games felt like to play, rather than just what they looked like.

Very cute vibes and every girl is awesome. Being able to switch characters at any time is fantastic, although a bit overpowered.

The music in particular is 10/10.

The level design is a bit repetitive at times, but it's kept fresh by unlocking new characters after every area. Each area pretty much has the same platforming challenges and hazards, and mainly differ only in aesthetics. The only one that really stands out mechanically is the spooky area with the small keys, that one is fantastic.

The amount of content is acceptable for the price (although again it's just a bit repetitive, and considering this I actually think the length of the game is just right).

Overall very good experience!

This game is... perfectly *fine*. The new player experience is pretty rough, and the DLC stuff seems kinda questionable. I'm sure this was the kind of game that was solid at launch, but it just feels like you're expected to own all the DLC to be able to play the "real" game. Otherwise it feels like a weird paid demo. The menus are a bit confusing and feel unpolished, especially while you're playing coop.

Overall hard to recommend. It feels like there's a good game buried in here, but I couldn't find it.

Excellent coop experience. Beautiful artwork and music. Very minor complaints. Menus are a little strange to navigate but you get used to it.

I enjoyed my time playing through the game, but I have a hard time recommending it. I think this game deserves a rating towards the upper end of "mixed" here on steam, so I'm giving a +1 with that in mind.

First of all, the game is a buggy disaster, especially in co-op. If you can't handle that, do not play.

The implementation of co-op feels extraordinarily tacked on. Co-op players have no progression of their own, and instead get a carbon copy of the host's inventory each time they join the game. However, once in game, their progress is independent for that session, though it will be reset once they leave. Additionally there are many glitches, and at least several puzzles which could be bypassed with multiple players, and one puzzle which required the host to perform the solution alone for seemingly no reason.

Looking past the glitches and co-op issues, the game is genuinely enjoyable (usually...) and has some neat ideas. It is very front-loaded in terms of design, so the first act is the most fleshed out, but the last half of the final act is a huge slog.

Also yes there's a stamina system, it sucks and should be removed, but it doesn't *always* get in the way, and I was able to ignore it a majority of the time.

If this *looks* like a game you'd enjoy, then you probably will, but wait for a sale. Co-op players should expect a rough time.

This game is okay. It's fairly well-made, but unfortunately it's quite a basic roguelike.

The art and atmosphere are cute, but the combat is extremely simple and the exploration is tedious. The classes are locked behind what is essentially just playtime, which doesn't feel very rewarding.

One critical issue is the lack of controller support.

The dev seems to still be working on it though, so hopefully it'll get fleshed out a bit more.

This is normally the exact kind of game I'd enjoy, but it's just... small, I guess.

I wish Steam would let me post a neutral review, but I'll give it a thumbs up just because it's cute and the dev seems cool.

A very good dungeon crawler. Though simpler in design, it still feels true to its inspirations. Highly immersive environments with lots of attention to detail. Lots of cool moments. You level up pretty fast, and there's no armor (just weapons and spells), so character building is not a strong emphasis. NPCs are cute. I'm glad the dev added pronouns.

Extremely well-made game. Nothing much to complain about aside from lack of online play, but remote play works very well.

Expectation: Casual fun indie cooking simulator.
Reality: I am hiding behind the blueprint cabinets and having a panic attack. I'll never be able to look at potato salad the same way ever again.
