The base game is okay, reminds me a little of Simcity 4. Add in the DLCs and you have a little more micro managing. It is a shame that so many extra DLCs need to be purchased to add things like trams. The modding community is massive with Traffic Manager President Edition being a must have. The hardware requirements aren't too excessive and it will happily run on an 11th Gen i5 laptop with Iris Xe graphics, at least until the population gets to around the 100,000 mark, then some slowdown will start to be noticed. A ram upgrade from 8 to 16GB made no difference, so it's more CPU bound. Still, it's a game I keep going back to, so despite the outlay for the additional DLC content, I've had my moneys worth in game play.

So far I've rather enjoyed using this front end for the Serious Sam games, especially for Co-Op play. The reason being that as there aren't so many servers available today it will hunt one out and connect for you, however it is a lottery as to whether you will get TFE, TSE or BFE. This makes it interesting as you never know what to expect, or even what level you will drop in on.
I have yet to look into some of the other options and settings available, for Mods etc, however it's a winner for me.

For gameplay its rather indepth and enjoyable, however it suffers from occasional crashes which detracts from the game slightly. Running on an upto date machine well over spec with Windows 8.1.

Same insane and crazy gameplay as the original games departing from the mess that was Serious Sam 2, superb and well recommended. Gibs galore !
