Movement controls are a little clunky, but it is one of the most unique spins on a co-op wave shooter to exist.

Fun little game! Easy to play and I love that it features remote play! You can hook up with your friends easily and controller support worked flawlessly.

Unable to beat any level. Host is the only one able to see some doors opening. Couldn't get past the Tavern doors at the beginning. Monster got stuck a few times. Some levels are absolutely huge, without a save system or checkpoint.

Lighting and graphics are nice, tho. Not a horrible time for <$3, but I can't recommend it until the door mechanics work.

It was fine for what it was doing, but really short and a little underwhelming. Very repetitive.

If you like Exit 8, you will love this game. The unsettling images and horror aspect is downright creepy. Your 'buddy' that spawns with you is even more unsettling! It's always fun to find what is different or missing, sometimes it's very obvious and sometimes you have to question if anything has even changed at all.

Pros:
-Thrilling and unsettling
-Love the atmosphere and gameplay
-No jumpscares (this could also be considered a con, depending on preference)

Cons:
-Could have a little better graphic quality, since it considers itself photo realistic, not quite there.
-Could have more anomalies (this is always a request, there is a fair amount)

Competitive and unique gameplay. Quirky Visuals and controls. If you wanted to run around and be a dog while competing with your friends for 'houses' this is the game for you.

Pros:
-We like being dogs
-No other game like this

Cons:
-We had a couple friends not able to play at all, they either fell through the map, or the camera spazzed constantly. Two of us WERE able to fully play.
-Wish there were more dog types
-Not enough Graphic settings (which we believe to be the main issue for some friends)
-It's fun for a little bit, but grows stagnant fast, wish there were more interactions
-Very basic gameplay

If you're a reviewer who has a problem with joining the Epic Games Service, I tend to ignore the rest of the review. Such a non-issue that has no relation to how the actual game plays. If you're like me and don't give a flying flip about that stuff, read on!

Pros:
-Unique environment for a game like this
-Ingenious movement system with the intuitive tethering mechanic
-A chill, slow pace if you want it to be
-Absolutely adorable creatures
-Cooperative play that works!
-Trickle of introducing new mechanics and characters. We're still discovering things after hour 12
-Developers' road map is enticing.

Cons:
-Weapon management system is not polished. Has potential, but too many junk weapon parts with no way to store them efficiently or dispose of them for profit. At this point we basically ignore anything green or white.
-Some small nuisances with crafting, including finding out what to use for research or moving items efficiently between storage boxes
-Enemies have impeccable aim
-Satiety system is sorta useless for anything other than refilling health

Basically, if you liked raft and are chomping at the bit for more of that vibe, this will scratch that itch. However, it does seem a bit hefty at $30. Even with that said, I don't regret it and the potential for more updates is exciting. Would I advise waiting and seeing if they stick to their promises of more content? Only if you're the negative type who is looking for a reason to dislike something meant to be a good time.

I got eaten, bludgeoned, stabbed, impaled, and more, and had a great time doing it!

Fun puzzle concepts, great mazes, useful glowstick marking system, and lots of extra challenges to take on if you want. Full game receives free big updates every half year or so. Love coming back to it every now and then. Really good to play with first-timers.
