Status: ~10h.

At this point I like the game. I love the settings, the satirical approach, but on the other side a good portion of realism in the simulation. At this point (Hotfix 1.1 i believe) it still got some issues.

TLDR. The units are way too slow, plz give us strategic redeployment. The "favour"-wall is sometimes straight unfair. The RNG can kill you. The demands for goods are skyrocketing while your resources can't keep up - even with free trade agreements with every of your neighbours. There is an "impossible to break"-downstream spiral. You can't change your ministers with a new presidential term. Also you can't make them... disappear.

Update 01 (17h): I've beaten the game at some lower game difficulty. The Rebels are very frustrating. Units seem to not be able to move through tunnels. The Rest is ok (with easier ministers you don't have the chance to get into the 'downstream', the RNG events are ok).

The units got the problem they're movement radius is broken. No country is that huge that a strategic redeployment of troops from one side to another would take in-game several months or even years - even with choppers. Also the choppers can't carry infantry. The whole population get cars, but you just have to walk by foot through the countryside. C'mon.
I mean, at least some kind of "Teleport"-redeployment option between the military bases and the FOBs would be somehow meaningful. At this point it is faster to destroy your base in one corner of the map and then build a knew one on the other and buy the troops there again. That just doesn't make sense in 2021 when even the most primitive armies drive Toyota through the dessert.

Some may criticize the RNG. It can be ok, but sometimes the next event just kills everything you've done for the past 4 hours. That hurts.

Also I feel like the game makes it impossible to anyhow have a sustainable growing economy. At least maybe you can get into a impossible-to-get-out downstream of "striking population and angry ministers because the pop is striking because you cant fix anything because of minister angry". But even if you manage to keep everyone happy for a time, at some point the population demand rises and you just don't get the resources or the limited trade capacity to make them feel happy. Also the demand for food seems to rise up disproportionately to your economy. At some point you have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of farms and those mouths are still asking for more - which leads to the "downstream spiral" mentioned above...

One more thing with the "downstream spiral". You get this "favours"-system for ministers, where they can do you a favour, if you fulfill their task. I just feel like some things are not really fair to put behind favours. I mean, I literally throw billions around but require the favour from a minister to get my surveyor a slightly better education (which btw. is absolutely nessecary, since at some point you "run out of natural ressouces" - you pops want more and more - and since the trade contingent is very limited you must rely on you surveyor to find some more - learned it the hard way) or, what makes it more ridiculous, buy my facility inspector a car so he can finally drive to the other corner of the map.

I can understand, what concepts the devs thought through. It just frustrates if too many essential things are behind "favour"-walls, of which you don't get many on higher difficulties, when your minister just demands impossible things.

What could be a possible solution if your minister could have some "corruption bar" - you can make them give you favours for money or buy yourself their happiness - for an overall price increase of everything new you could buy in their department for example. Also maybe at least with reelection you should be able to replace your ministers with new ones. That's how it works in democracies and autocracies as well.

Actually better than I thought.
> no microtransactions that I know of
> ok campaign (it's not really too good, but it's not bad). In the celebration edition it's actually a nice story to follow
> very nice multiplayer. as I'm currently kinda new, I've nearly no stuff you get through grinding. That does not mean I can't be effective without the better weapons. Remember, that's a casual shooter, there is no notable interaction between players going on. There are "squads", yes, but they are only relevant as a spawn thing. There are no possibilities to team up or switch during a match, that I could take notice of.

newb tip: use cover and wait, until your health bar is up again. going for a "killing spree" is usually suicidal.

As a great Star Wars fan, i'm happy with this game. It's a bit like the old battlefront 2. Unfortunately in the space battles, you can't board the ships and destroy them from inside, it's more like "shoot everything that moves and bomb this following parts of the destroyer. However I like the conquest mode, where you have to board the enemy destroyer if you win the ground fight. If you lose the fight on the destroyer, you have to go back on the ground.

I enjoyed it.

Nice Game. Got it on humblebundle.

The story is intense and the investigation is quite interesting to do.
On the other hand you can't say if the story is boring *orwell* written enough to play it once more. (pun intended).

Definetly worth 1-2.5€ . Wouldnt buy it for 10 tho. Quite expensive for 3,5hours..

Btw. got a bug, where the games sound starts looping in the end afer the videos and there is nothing you can do about it..

The game is good. However the DCL policy sucks: far too expensive and far too many. Affordable Packages would be better

Really liked the game. Feels a bit repetetive, because there is autosave only, so if you screwed up a choice and it's your seventh run, it's kinda boring to replay the game again.

However I've played only three runs - one quite long one and two very short in 2.6 hours. Bought the game on a sale, because I liked the idea and wasnt dissapointed. The soundtrack is great and the voice acting is totally ok. Don't expect tripple A graphic, but it runs smooth and the overall design is more than ok for an indie project - just imagine a cheap dishonored with a more ugly background skyline.

The only Problem I've detected is the part of walking. Like. You walk the same location across the street like 10 times in one run. This is a bit too much. I coulnd't imagine a better solution for that tho.

Overall I highly recommend you this game, however would still recommend it to you for sale prices - just in case you doesn't like it.
