Early Access Review
So far in my playtime, pretty solid. Certainly helps to have a group of people that are effectively on the same wave-length.
Loading times for me are a bit not great, but I can imagine that being partly mid PC specs.
Gunplay is good, clearing rooms actually puts (me at least) on edge.
There is a lack of available missions currently, but the variety/randomization of buildings of course helps to balance that out fairly well (though can at the same time make playing for extended periods a bit difficult.)

This all said, I will likely try to keep my review updated to better reflect any recurring issues, and generally more detailed thoughts. But for now, solid recommend- more so when it's on sale, and I look forward to seeing how the game's development progresses.

Here's an immediate TL;DR: It's F1, you drive fast. The AI is..fine-ish, the handling doesn't feel as good as 2020 (to me at least, on controller,) but it might be better to you. Maybe check out 2021 or 2020 if you can, and maybe try to get one of those two if you don't care about the online public races aspect too much.

The good, though:
* It is fun to hop in and go nyoom with funni Formula cars
* The graphics are pretty decent, maybe not ground-breaking, but they suit a modern game.
* Soundtrack is pretty solid, it's a vibe.
* There are lots of settings you can change, so if you're like me and suck at games and don't want to mald because you're being rekt by AI- you can make it so that the AI are basically just high-speed obstacles at worst.
* This doesn't require Origin to play, unlike other EA titles.
*(I guess this is a technical positive) Due to the fact this is obviously the most recent release, there are more lobbies to get into. Just stay in lobbies with ghosting enabled, you will be PIT-maneuvered every other turn otherwise.

The bad:
* The AI, on various difficulties, can sometimes make only "artificial " fitting in A.I. By this, I mean they can make very dangerous/dumb moves against a player. Though you could argue that's just called racing, I call it a flashback moment (to a certain extent.)
* The FIA. Okay so maybe I should elaborate- there are times where the game may falsely register an illegal move or contact (should said rules be enabled,) and has happened to me a couple of times. Not the worst thing, but it can happen.
*Public racing lobbies are not that great, even if they are more active. But that's just general online racing outside of more "sim-racer"-esk communities, I think. Also, it sort of feels awkward with a lot of waiting just trying to actually get into the race, let alone getting into a race and it being so outlandishly jank. In short on this point: I feel like I could find better lobbies for games from 2010 and have an easier, and more fun time playing with whoever I end up with on there.

The..Neutral?:
* The handling. When I wrote my original version of this review, it was based on my experience of having only played this one particular F1 game. Having played F1 2020 now, my take on this is that there is more of a grippy feel (..with full-trac-control), but that it also feels like there's less control- like it is more on-rails than 2020. In 2020 for example, you can take a corner (at least as I perceive it, I'm no game journalist, much less a fully credible reviewer) at a much higher speed, and as long as you can steer appropriately into the turn, you come out mostly unscathed. In this game, you take that same concept- and you will absolutely run off the course if you're going a few kmph too fast. Now, somehow the reverse is true on just medium traction control, where it feels like you can counter-steer loss of traction in 2020, but here you start a spin- and it ends a 180, or 360, no argument to be had. Unfortunately I cannot speak on no traction control as I have very little experience with it (much less in this game, unsurprisingly.)
* The ability to customize a personal penthouse..or whatever. It acts as a showroom for your supercars at most, and is maybe or maybe not new to this game (this part I have not looked into) but it exists. It would be cool if there didn't seem to be clear issues with the game which could've had more focus put onto that, but on the other hand, maybe those got through the crack of testing entirely.
*AI are more likely to make mistakes/take worse lines. While for the most part this counts as a good thing, as battling AI in 2020 becomes a bit of a waiting game on when you can get to a straight, probably with DRS, and make a very basic pass, here AI feel more human-like, they make mistakes. Or at least certainly more noticeable ones that you can capitalize on. Though, they can happen too often according to some people. I'm a bit biased in that the handling in this game compared to 2020 is its own challenge so..eh, I can't complain.

Personally, I don't know if I would suggest buying this game for over..maybe USD$35.
And even that may be a good bit much.

I hinted earlier I'm new to the F1 racing-scene. Having experience in only one other F1 title, 2020. But, my below recommendations more-so come from a friend who is more-or-less an F1 nerd, and has played more of the game than I. That said, he also recommended 2020 (hence why I have it now,) as well as 2021...as opposed to 2022. Now both 2020 and 2021 have their own benefits, thus I recommend checking them both out and seeing the content/features of each, and choosing from there.

PS. Danke Seb

Overall, a pretty good ga- or, test, I suppose I should say.

I took the test twice actually, once six months ago, once today.
I am certain I had different answers, and thus led me to "blessing" and "order" for my secret words. The former being fairly accurate to how I view myself, the second being a bit iffy but not 100% wrong.

The horror theme sort of falls on deaf ears for some, including myself to an extent- but that does not necessarily make it bad.
The game does have some good questions- some that make you think a tad bit deeply, but of course there's also some semi-generic ones, as well as a couple funni questions.

I'd say this game/test is worth USD$2.00..plus some tax if you're mostly looking to pass time and do a small bit of reflecting, all the while having a creepy theme around it.

Not sure what everyone else has been on about. The features in this game are amazing- all the way from the really early development of being able to fly through the sky without even needing wings by launching off a mountain with a horse, down to just being able to put a bucket on a shopkeepers head so you can rob them blind and leave them to have to sell their shop so they can still buy food. Oh, and betraying the graybeards without them ever knowing to level up stealth? Wonderful idea! See..it all just works. [actually a good game to pick up when on sale if haven't played it before]

(Also, played this on a few different consoles so excuse the lack of play time thus far.)
