As a female gamer, games that require good communication over voice chat can usually lead to an uncomfortable/toxic gaming experience. Despite this game being largely dominated by male players it has been the most genuine and fun online gaming experiences I have had. Whether it is people really getting into role-playing or just making jokes to those who will listen in proximity chat, I am yet to experience any significant toxicity even when making mistakes as a new and female player. I have not encountered any other female gamers in this game yet so I hope this review encourages a few to join us on the front!

One of those games that will be later seen as an industry changer like Doom, Halo, Half-Life 2, etc.

This is a game that I only bought originally because it was on sale, 4 player co-op, and reminded me of D&D. I just figured it would be something to play with my friends. With no background in the franchise I jumped in have immediately fell in love with the world, lore, characters, and tactician gameplay. I currently am in 3 different games; one with my friends, a solo game, and now I have sucked my parents into it. Highly recommend to any fan of fantasy RPG's.

10/10 Would save a void-chicken again.

Possibly the best COOP experience I have ever had.

I could go on about how there is no tethering, freedom to explore the entire world, or the ability to do EVERY mission together (looking at you far cry 4). But it honestly just a great game to goof off with a friend in. Whether it was accidentally running over out own mines, our standard protocol of ejecting out of a plane over our objective and parachuting in, or how we turned "a baby makes 3" into the dumbest inside joke. . . it was an all around good experience. There are a few bugs but they have been more silly than game breaking.

10/10 would get crushed by my friend in a helicopter again.

Commander shoots him in the back of the head.
