Ah, Battlefield. The franchise that has always been ahead of its time... in breaking the laws of online gaming. Battlefield 6 continues the proud tradition of innovating netcode in ways that make you question reality itself.

When you first load into a game, you’ll be greeted with the usual: your character gets killed instantly, but you were behind cover, right? Nope! In this new, exciting version of reality, the bullets from 3 seconds ago still kill you while you’re sipping a coffee in the respawn menu. But hey, at least you get to enjoy the thrill of pretending to play the game for a few seconds before physics completely collapse.

The lag? Oh, it’s not just any lag, it’s “experiential” lag. You’ll get the full immersive experience of watching your actions unfold 3 seconds after you make them. Want to toss a grenade? Too bad, you’ll be blown up by a grenade you can’t even see yet—because the server time is still catching up.

The netcode in Battlefield 6 isn’t broken; it’s just redefined. Battlefield has long had a complex relationship with netcode. It’s like that one friend who keeps telling the same old jokes about their ex, and you laugh because you don’t know how else to react. But this time, it’s different—every shot, every kill, every death is an existential experience. Did you really die, or were you just a fleeting moment in a cosmic glitch? The game’s not crashing; your understanding of space and time is.

If you’re a fan of the Battlefield franchise and have ever had a moment of “hey, at least the netcode won’t be as bad as last time”—congratulations! You've just become part of an endless cycle. A beautiful, broken, never-ending saga of netcode despair. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So, grab your gun, embrace the lag, and let’s make some timeless memories together in Battlefield 6… right after the servers finish catching up.

Ah, PUBG. The game that's been around since the dinosaurs roamed the earth, and yet, somehow, it still feels like it's in beta. Like, a really, really long beta. You know that feeling when you order a pizza and it arrives looking exactly like the one you ordered last year? That's PUBG.

Look, I get it. The core gameplay is still kinda fun, like watching a squirrel try to bury a nut. But then, BAM! You get headshot from across the map by someone who's clearly using their gaming chair as a teleporter. It's like playing Russian roulette, but instead of bullets, it's cheaters. And let me tell you, the chamber is fully loaded.

Seriously, 8 out of 10 games? I'm starting to think the developers are secretly running a cheater training program. "Welcome to PUBG Cheater Academy! Your first lesson: Aim for the head, through walls, while doing a backflip."

And don't even get me started on the map selection in duos. It's like they threw a dart at a map of "Random" and called it a feature. I just want to play Erangel, not get lost in whatever weird, alien landscape they decided to throw us into this time.

Pros:

Sometimes, you get a chicken dinner. (Rare, like seeing a unicorn riding a bicycle.)
The panic when you're down to the last few players is... memorable?

Cons:

Cheaters. More cheaters than a convention for cheaters.
Map selection in duos is a cruel joke.
Feels like they're recycling content from the Stone Age.
My sanity is slowly eroding.
If you enjoy being repeatedly humiliated by cheaters and crave the thrill of playing a game that feels like it's stuck in 2017, then PUBG is for you! Otherwise, maybe invest in a nice puzzle or something.
