The Save Room franchise returns triumphant with its second instalment. I was very pleased with this game! Its a straight forward puzzle game that draws its inspiration from Resident Evil 4's inventory management. If you like RE4 and visual puzzles, I recommend this game to you!

The cats were hiding in Paris ... and I found them!
Fun little spot the hidden item game with cute sound effects. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick little game to pass the time with. Challenge mode gives it some replay value after finishing the first run through.

TL;DR - Linear, predictable, unnecessary. Read a plot summary, it will be more fun.
I played Outlast and Outlast: Whistleblower so my friends could watch it on stream. I'm glad I got these on sale, especially the Whistleblower DLC. This game wasn't scary in the least. The entire 2 hour DLC consisted of linear running through dark areas, excessive gore, and predictable jump scares. I criticized Outlast for having too many linear sequences, but this DLC is entirely linear. Just run to the end while watching all the unskippable cut-scenes along the way. I didn't enjoy this game in the least and I love horror genre games!

The developers confused scariness with discomfort. The whole game tries to make the player as uncomfortable as possible. The enemies act in gross and sadistic ways for no apparent reason. Everytime there is an cut-scene the player is forced to watch, its always filled with unnecessary gore. And the "gameplay" is just running down hallways and circle strafing around the bad-guys; which is made extra uncomfortable because of how easily the player gets stuck on map geometry. The devs then mix in a long chain of pointless jump scares for extra annoyance.

A good horror game is a complex mix of atmosphere, suspense, misdirection, and surprise. Outlast: Whistleblower had none of these. I'll say it again: I would never recommend playing this game unless you are doing it for your friends. Total loss of 2 hour.
