The improvements were enough for me to finally get into this.

Feast for the senses! Newbie friendly. May not be enough for hardcore, but it has me engaged and gives me something to practice with to dabble in the genre.

Haven't fallen for a jRPG in a long time.
Never played a Gust game before. Bounced off Ryza2 very early. This one had me from the start.
Guess it was just what I was looking for. :)

I really enjoy this game.
Story is alright, there is some grind, and some of the boss difficulty escalation is a bit much, but generally it's a lot of fun. There's a lot of flexibility. I don't feel like I've made permanently bad decisions by not knowing things ahead of time. I can fail, experiment, and try again. And it still poses challenges.
This what I wanted Mistover to be.

Probably among the best and most engaging interactive fiction I've ever "played".
