I normally don't make these kinds of reviews, but here we go.

Half-Life is my favorite game of all time. No seriously it is. And for a good reason, it's beautifully crafted puzzles and gameplay, still great graphics even though it launched on 2004 and last but not least, the story. It's the best, there are mysteries that you as a player should make brainstorms about. And the best example for this is the G-Man (♥♥♥♥ you Game Theory). You don't have to sit through a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 20 minute cutscene in order to proceed or understand the game in it's entirety. It's not cutscene-free per se, but there's only 3 cutscenes as far as I know(in the ENTIRE FRANCHISE).And even though there's little to no cutscenes it still has the best story telling. And that's because well, there aren't any cutscenes. Moving on, I don't think I even need to mention how Half-Life changed the gaming industry in it's entirety. It shifted the balance of what was thought to be impossible in gaming, and it's sequel isn't any different.

In conclusion, the Half-Life franchise is my favorite gaming franchise of all time, Half-Life 3 memes and dreams may be dead, but I still can't accept the death of the Half-Life series as a whole. I will still remember this as my favorite game even if it's 30 years later.
