this game lit !!!

After playing through for the first time, I was able to get a good grip on the game's simple-to-use UI and controls. It's very simple but in a charming way, reminiscent of titles from back in the day. The game's combat isn't too complicated, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Encounters range from simple bandits to vicious mercenaries, requiring you to pick your battles--especially in the early game. I had a great time playing through this, all in all.

The pros:
-Handcrafted graphics
-Original music composition
-Charming, easy-to-use UI with customizable skins
-Funny random events keep the game fresh

The cons:
-Simple trading system leaves a little bit to be desired, but the game was just released, so...
-Encounters can become predictable or easy once you get geared up
-Talismans of protection allow you to become snowball-y and tanky, reducing a lot of damage
-Can shrug off harder encounters by taking them to lunch or buying a talisman from them

Overall, it needs a bit of polish, but in it's current state, I can safely say that I enjoy this product. Great job!
