They're closing down a great MMO due to their unreasonable expectations. That whole "not finding audience" thing? Pure BS. They could do many things to get the audience. They could put the game on sale. They could make it free to play. They have done no such thing instead deciding that because they had unreasonable expectations going which obviously weren't met, they need to close it down.

Hell, they could even release the sources so someone else can get (pay for) SpatialOS server to run it. No such luck.

Waay too easy. I get that the point of it is to get Pewds play it in a video or on stream so I can forgive it being short, but come on, Felix is a fricking GAMER. Like, what the frick? He doesn't need auto health regen (which even with my agressive style of play never went under 3 hearts before it healed back up), he would be perfectly capable to play it without health regen but with more standard medkit system, like in the original Doom or in 3d platformer I'm working on, Computer Virus Simulator.

I rate it too easy/10. Still worth a play though. Thank you Pewdiepie.

I don't give rat's ass about what anyone thinks about the devs, this game is EPIC. Wanna be held by your hand like a little baby? Go play WoW or some other MMO for chumps. This is real deal, you WILL have to craft your equipment unless you want to spend thousands of gold or use subpar (NPC-made) one. And then you go into battle and be dead despite all of the preparations (any zone aside of one of the starting ones is a potential death trap). THIS IS A MMO FOR. REAL. MEN. Not babies crying for every possible reason (those are busy playing WoW).

And just to be clear - any "store" item can be traded for with other players, universe chat orb is just $1 on the store and you don't need store items anyway in order to enjoy the game.

Great game, responsive developer who releases updates constantly (sometimes several updates a day even!)

It really shows that this game is not some Mario Maker rip-off (*cough* Box Maker *cough*), but instead something that comes from the place of love, a passion project.

Yes, I had some issues, however the speed with what the developer is releasing fixes and feature updates means that (unless the issue wasn't reported properly, by Bugs forum), means that any bug, even serious ones such as level corruption (fixed now!) doesn't stay in the game for long.

I'm totally happy with the product and if you want something like Mario Maker that's really great, you need to get this gem.

This program is a clone/spiritual successor to old painting application called Deluxe Paint, often abbreviated as DPaint, which was used in many PC and Amiga titles such as, for example, Jazz Jackrabbit and Jazz Jackrabbit 2. Because of this, the workflow is quite similar between the two.

As for myself, I've never used Deluxe Paint, but the workflow and especially brushes and animbrushes simply make so much more sense than most of the modern pixel art programs such as Aseprite, Graphics Gale or even Pyxel Edit that I wonder why there aren't more DPaint clones around that aren't either abandoned or non-functional.

If you are a pixel artist, do yourself a favor and buy it. It isn't expensive compared to how it used to be (and those extra few bucks compared with other paid pixel art packages are worth it).

The only real alternative to it, other than getting ahold of DPaint itself (which has a dubious legal status as it's not officially sold anymore and you are either going to buy second-hand disks that may not work or use pirated/abandonware sites to obtain it), is Grafx2, which is free and open-source, but... let's just say that with such UI only its programmer can love Grafx2 :).

Basically game is fun, but has one serious flaw. On the bullet cam, just as the bullet is about to shoot the ski jumper the game freezes and seemingly goes into an infinite loop (as I'm a game dev too I can tell).

While I'll leave this review as positive one as I generally have no other issues with it, I'd wait with buying it yourself.

HOARD is a nice game and quite fun in short bursts, but due to developers disregarding it/going under (whichever is true) and not fixing even the obvious crashbugs, I have to tell you to avoid it.

Played it, didn't like it.

Not because of the difficulty, but because shooting mechanics don't have that "oomph" to them that Doom, Duke3d or Quake has. If it would be improved, then maybe I could recommend it, but for now, this is a difficult shooter with boring shooting.
