Great fast paced action with a great ironic tone. Better with friends but still fun with randoms and doesn't overly punish having a noob in your team. Just a great amount of chaos.

After having used this a fair amount I can recommend it for easy battlemaps and a buy-once alternative to subscription based services. Easy to use and easy to export maps.

Lots of promises and a game that was average back in 2014. Today with Ready or Not there is absolutely no reason to buy this.

Great if you want to scratch the nostalgia but sadly carry some damning bugs you'd think they would bother fixing when they charge €6 for a 25 years old game.

At the moment I cannot recommend this game.

The servers are chronically full and if your friends are already playing on one then it is near impossible to get into it. To make things worse if you give up and make a character on another server you are now locked out of making one elsewhere.

Soon 1000 hours in this grandpa game.

Fantastic tactical shooter. If you ever liked Rainbow Six or SWAT this is a true successor. The massive patch from early access to release introduced a decent campaign, good teammate AI and a bunch of new missions as well as improvements to old ones.

It got an easy command system, AI teammates that actually do things on their own (without needing to be nannied), good selection of customisation, good variation of missions, and they do not shy away from offensive themes. Graphics are decent; good but certainly last gen. On the positive it is easy to achieve a good frame rate; something that is necessary in this type of game. They get the job done. Sound is good but difficult to hear where they come from. Excellent coop multiplayer.

What I would like to see is more reward for non-lethal takedowns. Right now you can very easily get an A rating just shooting anyone with a gun which turns it away a little from SWAT and more towards Rainbow Six. You enemies seem to either surrender immediately, or shoot you at first sight. There is also very little encouragement for you as the commander to lead the way into a breach. The AI does so well at it and you only risk getting yourself killed and failing the mission.

Overall a definitive recommendation.

Simple fun, perfect short sessions on the steam deck

The CRPG to play. Great story, great cut-scenes, and now with D&D rule-set. Still got some bugs but most are ironed out.

The Battlefield we wish we got, with Roblox graphics.
