I made an account to play with a friend I've known since high school. That was a month ago. I've also been playing with friends that didn't link their account. Underneath what has just been announced is a great game in the making.

Why have you done this?

Let me start off by saying that if you like factory games, you will like this one. If your computer doesn't have a high end graphics card, I would wait until full release. Cave looks great, but the optimization is lacking (it IS early access). If you REALLY want to try it: set the frame rate limit to 50, the graphics quality to low, and either play with low resolution scale or a low resolution.

Is this worth $29.99

Why: Hardly any value

Is Factorio worth $30

Answer: Yes
Why: Contains more content than this Pass

I've played so much modded I don't remember what the normal game is like. If automation is your thing, pick it up I guess.

Also 30 minutes at night = sunrise.

I like it.

I can confirm it does not run like it was made in 1999.

It's a good game for the first 1000 hours, and then it gets kinda old. For a Free-to-Play game, that's really good.

Also, there are lots of mods, custom HUDs, plenty of community servers, and much more. Competitive gameplay is not free, but that really isn't much of a problem.
