I have had ZERO crashes with the current version of the game. Could be because I'm using a 10 year old computer and my monitors do not have a very high resolution.

I love the game as much as I did 25 years ago. But now with all of the expansion packs I never had as a kid. I had to google al lot of the stuff, because I had never seen it before. Joys of the modern age I guess.
Will definitely see if installing mods works. I'm writing this moments after rage quiting because the stupid saxophone player locked us all in the toilet building because he.would.not.move. out of the doorway. Gotta love 25 year old NPC AI's and path finding. Things weren't always smooth sailing back then and frankly, that's ok. :) At least I remember to save often! CTRL+S is your friend!

Started playing this because I watched a playthrough of it on YouTube and it just looked amazing and fun. And, well, it is! I haven't been able to put it down since and even got my boyfriend to play it too. Now we help each other think out what the best ways are to reach certain 3DMark scores and we share the laughs about the funny in-game customer e-mails. It's hard to say which ones are better: Hazel's hippie approach to fixing her rig or Bruce van Cleefe's romance novelisque e-mails of woe about how much better a typewriter is. I can't believe how much detail went into those storylines on tóp of the amazing details of all the hardware. You see the cooling fans spin up and everything when you power on a machine, I love it!
I just wish the game had some in-game notepad, because sometimes it's hard to remember exactly who you ordered which part for when you're working on five PC's at once. Actual pen and paper work too, but, meh. Makes me feel a bit like Bruce. :P
