Honestly, I wouldn't really recommend it. There was quite a bit that I didn't like.

The models were okay but the eyes were really lifeless and off-putting.

The voice acting wasn't great but it wasn't terrible, until a little girl joined my party and had a really monotone drawling voice that ended every single sentence with "kay?".

I'd like the combat more if I didn't feel the need to stress out over the bonus board which you can only fill by killing enemies in a specific way in order to get different boosts like regen after battle or more skill points. Problem is that your team mates will get in the way of most of the kill conditions, so you have to turn them off to build the board in a way you want, and if you ever get crit on, half the board gets wiped. Now the problem with the crits is that enemies like to go into an enraged state which massively boosts their crit chance while also giving them super armor so they can just hit you through your attacks. So when something goes rage, all you can do is just run around the battlefield waiting for their timer to end or risk getting clipped and losing your bonus board. (Which doesn't get kept when you load a save, btw.)

And the cherry on top for why I uninstalled the game: It crashes. And you can only save at specific save points. Which means you're an hour into this dungeon slog and the game crashes on you during a fight and that hour of progress or grinding is gone.

Don't buy it. Don't even get it if it's free. The people running the show have gone to great lengths to show that they don't give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about the playerbase as anything but wallets to empty out. They pissed off the vast majority of veteran players and basically went "Well, cya then, we already have your money."
