I know I haven't sunk enough time into this game even though I had it for quite some time, and it's all my fault really. But it's one solid game. Great Visuals, and the ability to add your own music to listen to while blasting away at enemies in space, is especially epic when combined with epic music :)

The Classic game is fine, but ULTRA is where the real deal's at, to be honest.

But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, suicidal difficulty is one mean b***, I love it :p

Also the second one is in early access since October of last year, look out for that one too!

Ace Combat is a long running series of arcade flight games, and at their core lay their key components: Soundtrack, Story, Gameplay. Each individual game stories deal with the different conflicts of human nature, making the plot essential to the AC experience, AC7 deals with the expansion of unmanned aircraft and drone technology taking control of the skies. It is the first Ace Combat game to be released since 2014 with F2P Ace Combat Infinity (F in the Chat), and the first main line Ace Combat game set in the original fictional world of Strangereal since Ace Combat 6 in 2007. As it expands on the lore of Strangereal and utilizes previously set locations and countries.

Everything in the Ace Combat Universe revolves around flight, jet fighters and aerial combat (seems like all countries devote 90% of their resources on their air forces). Therefore you get your standard dogfights as you'd expect but with a twist. Super-weapons, mega-structures and other such contraptions act as surreal boss fights that offer a different alternative to standard flight games, yet are close enough to reality that you'd believe that they could be constructed in the future.

And don't get me started on the soundtrack. They are on point on every level imaginable, everything from 90's style arcade rock, to full-fledged orchestras, to Spanish guitars and choirs, all depending on the mood and atmosphere that is being induced. I mean listen to this Masterpiece.

All in all, as a long-time hardcore fan of the series, I'd say that AC7 is a great comeback for Project ACES, especially for this niche genre. Totally would recommend it if you're into this sort of things. However a controller is a MUST. Also play on Expert controls for a better overall experience.

Metal Gear Rising is completely different in gameplay, pacing and storytelling than all the other Metal Gear games, but it's ton of fun. The soundtrack really kills it! ^^

Still has a thriving mod community in the workshop, it's good for single player for your first two playthroughs, but best played with friends.

So what is Civilization? If you haven't already guessed, it's a turn-based, 4X (eXpand, eXplore, eXploit and eXterminate) game. It basically puts you in command of the civilization of your choosing, and you have to lead them to victory and "Stand the test of time" by beating your opponents in a Cultural, Diplomatic, Space, Time, and the most fun way, Domination victory. Starting from the ancient era with little technological knowledge and one city, fighting barbarians with swords and spears. Gradually progressing through the different technological and time/eras, fighting with gunpoweder weapons, researching flight... eventually reaching the point where using nuclear weapons in war against other civilizations is the daily norm.

Civilization V is more simple than Civilization IV (but you can fix it with mods from the workshop). So do not let that drive you away from this masterpiece.
Absolutely amazing....but really needs the 2 expansions, or else it gets dull rather quickly (ok not entirely true strictly speaking, it is quite a lot of fun, and the workshop can really spice things up, even lacking BNW (Brave New World) and GAK (Gods and Kings).

But if you get the complete edition, not only you are compatible with the majority of mods out there (which there's an abundance of astonishing mods), it offers more gameplay mechanics such as the faith & religion system (GAK), and more troops and more gameplay options, units & civs (e.g Great War units from the BMW expansion etc). Overall, it's a solid game (with the expansions that is), but with Civilization VI out, I don't know whether you want this as a cheap alternative to Civ 6, as the games have different mechanics (such as the tile system working differently) and an altered but otherwise nearly the same gameplay. If you get the complete edition of Civ 5, I strongly recommend the Civ IV Diplomacy options mod. It's really good.

Oh, you're still reading? Good, I have one last thing to say: Prepare to spent a lot of hours playing a single match, trust me, entire evenings and weekends have vanished playing this game! ^^

This Game...what can I say about this game? Well first its cheap (I actually even bought it on a sale for 0.79, perfect!). This game has the basic Arma formula, Campaign, Single Player, Multiplayer and even Editing Mode which I love to death and wasted most of my time there. This game has pretty low graphics but considering this game is from 2001 well it doesn't matter. Note* I don't have a full blown out gaming PC as my previous one died so I'm using this 16 year old Laptop which needs a USB Wireless Stick to connect to the Internet, and plays this game just fine. In short this is a very cheap full game, that will play on nearly every computer you pit it against (unless the PC practically has no graphics card or is from '95), not to mention its not even a Gigabyte in size, you don't require GB's of memory and RAM, so its relatively small as well! All in all I think its a good deal for quick fun, especially if you don't have an up-to-date PC and have to rely on older hardware! I gurantee you hours and hours of fun (don't be fooled by my playtime, I've been playing it for much much longer in Offline Mode because of my crappy Laptop). So yes I recommend this if you don't have a good PC.
