Mars Horizon somehow manages to make space exploration boring. The first hour or so is enjoyable, but it feels like that's all there is to the game. Repetitive launch sequences, repetitive missions, repetitive space programme management bits. A little more improvement in all three areas would've kept me engaged for longer.

I strongly advise potential buyers to watch a video of the gameplay on youtube to see what it's all about. Then imagine yourself doing that same gameplay loop dozens upon dozens of times per playthrough. Only buy it if you think you'll still enjoy it.

It's more Fate/Musou, with more varied gameplay and more characters than the previous game. Got me hours of swashbucking fun.

My only criticism is that the story felt a bit weak compared to the previous game, so if that's what you're looking for you might want to give it a miss.

I expected Call of Duty in Space, I got it. I'm satisfied.
