I also had to reach out to 2K support to get the 500 coins. The vehicle was awarded instantly. 500 coins can be exchanged for 10,000 Brickbux in game, which means 2,000 Brickbux is $1.00 USD. Most vehicles in the game cost at least 10,000 Brickbux, so if you go down the microtransaction route, this game will get very expensive, very fast.

The vehicle in this DLC (Da Kar) reminded me of building LEGO cars as a kid out of the giant buckets of random bricks they used to sell, so while some people may not like how it visually looks, I like the mish-mash of colors.

Overall I can only recommend this when it goes on sale (I got it for $2.49) and be prepared to reach out to 2K support to get your coins.
