Game is alright. Good holdover while waiting for a new Halo game. I know it's been a while since Reach released, but I still have hope.

You will get the DLC, not understand the story, say "what happened?" after the story is over, think the story sucks, and after the 4-7 hours spent playing the story, play everything else, and enjoy the game.

Story is booty, gameplay is great, gets better / 10 once you finish the campaign. Everything is broken in both good ways ( cool builds) and bad ways (bunch of disabled things becase dev dif. Do recommend if you already have destiny stockholm syndrome

Event and Gear progression sucks. Radar is too short. clearly intended to force you to aggressively grind and put huge time sink in to get anything. Free Battle pass rewards are bad. No select able playlists for individual game modes before release of campaign. Makes doing game mode challenges difficult to complete, an unnecessary rng element to trying to complete one challenge of play a game of oddball, and getting 4 games of CTF. Game modes are buggy. not all weekly challenges are available, you have to complete challenges to allow new challenges to replace them, forcing an artificial grind that should not have to exist. Ex. a challenge to play 3 quick play games, and a challenge to play 3 CTF games. you can get 3 quick play games that are CTF, but if the CTF challenge isn't active, you will not get progression towards it, requiring you to play another three games. Overall, very poor in game progression and showing for the games mechanics.

Can't get the multiplayer to work, and have tried multiple online solutions. A group of us attempted to make it work for a couple hours. It looks like a fun game, but it's not that fun when you can't play with the people you want to play with.
