This game is so full of content but the bosses are so incredibly off balance and random. This game feels slopped together in a way I can't describe.

Ive beaten every from software souls game solo but this game just infuriates me, deaths feel totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and enemies hone in on you from miles away. Some enemies are so weak, yet others have an invisible tether connected to you at all times. This would be 100 percent fine if the game gave you any method to block attacks. It has the 'bayonetta' perfect dodge system but its got horrible latency and timing is beyond precise. Basically, most bosses are cool but this is by far the worst souls like ive ever played gameplay wise even with how many amazing things it brings to the table.

Edit: just finished the game plus the side content, I wouldn't suggest fighting any main story boss without acquiring the item that makes them reasonable. A couple fights in this game are god awful, over-all I changed my mind after finishing this game and I'd say Id recommend it with some serious caveats.

The randoms in this game are very frustrating, possibly the worst game ever 40 percent of the time

Crispy critters those were some wacky dialogue choices. It's incredible that a bunch of nerds that think deadpool is peak writing got paid to ruin all the potential this game had to be really solid. Only like 20 percent of the character interactions are slightly redeemable. For the most part, this game is solid and reminds me of soviet mech-future bioshock. The boss fights are a spectacle and most of them are genuinely awesome. They could have leaned into the spells a bit more but I appreciate that you can spam them without repercussions, making the gameplay feel more consistent and fluid. I highly recommend it. 8/10
