fun and challenge game with good learning curve

A fun little game to play alone or with friends. If you care about value then you can get approximately 100-300 solid hours of gameplay. Since the replay value isn't that great and the end game content sucks you'll likely do a playthrough where you have no idea what you are doing and then one where you are more experienced but eventually get bored of the game since there is only so much to do. In my opinion, game progression for some skills is way too fast which is one of the reasons why this game can get boring and repetitive fast. Also the game seems to lack a lot of diversity in money making methods which can lead to linear and boring/ repetitive content.

For multiplayer there are connection issues that don't seem to have fixes... You just kinda have to wait and then it'll work sometime later, its weird. This is somewhat rare however and has only happened to me twice in the years that i've owned the game.

Even though I bashed this game thoroughly, its still fun every once in a while to play and dump some time into every now and then.

Major cons:
only true con is lackluster gunplay (non vats) in a gun driven game

Minor cons:
Voices can sound roboty sometimes (i think that is just the fact that it is an older game however and that was the recording equiptment but not a big deal since it doesnt happen a lot)

Pros:
but on the other hand you have good story
solid voice acting for the most part
more choices in terms of how you want to end the game (especially when compared to fallout 3)
dlc isnt necesarry but allows for hours upon hours of fun and appealing content

devs used to be money hungry pigs but have started to try and fix the game more before adding a case every month which is nice but the game is still slightly broken and sometimes as a player it feels as if the devs dont even listen to the community.
for the casual player id 100% reccomend this to you (on sale of course) but for someone who wants a more serious game i wouldnt say this is a bad game its just not the best (with more playtime you will see all the flaws within the game)

lean mechanics are cool but tbh this game feels like its in beta still, its so bad
