Yes, everyone asks me, "where are you from Temper?" No I'm not offended or irritated, please understand I just hear the question A LOT!

"Were you born in London?" Sorry, no. I wasn't lucky enough to have my heavy Western worldly politically incorrect antireligious views suppressed and have some of the best education in the world, but I did get an overpriced and worthless degree in the states!

The next typical question: "You don't sound like the British people I hear on the tele. Why is that?" Because I'm not Brittish! That's the easy answer. Also, I currently am not living there and exposed 24/7, I didn't go to some dialect coach, nor did I try to fake an accent off some movie or television show. (Half those accents are blatently fake anyways.) I speak the dialect that is heard most often in Birmigham, England, because I work mostly with people from there. I'm also American (as much as i hate to admit that fact most times) so that accent will dominate on occasions. I did, however, grow up heavily exposed to British, Australian and East Coast accents. I sound strange to Americans, Britts and Aussies alike. I'm screwed everywhere, but I really could care less. =)

When it comes down to it, if you spend enough time around certain people, you will pick up their habits whether they be good, bad or just plain odd. That's why I choose to have good friends who are generally good, happy people. And strange helps too, because I like the built in entertainment! =)

"Why happy people?" Cause we all know the world sucks, so why spend your life complaining about it? Make the best you can with what little time you have left on this beautiful planet. =) Especially if you find yourself in the sights of my sig in CS. ;-)
