This is a solid rogue-like. There is a good variation on power ups. The bosses can be challenging at first especially if you get dealt a less than ideal hand. The weapon choice seems limited and rather narrow in scope. I've played 50+ hours and still have power ups to unlock.

However, if you are looking for a super challenging rogue-like this likely isn't the game for you. After a couple dozen runs the boss patterns begin to be very telegraphed and predictable. Its got a rather short learning curve and once you get past it the game becomes very easy to steam roll through content.

It can be a little slow to get started, but the game really opens up once you get access to the navigation module.

Closest thing I can compare it to is Terraria, but in space.

Early Access Review
A well thought out roguelike card game. Hundreds of hours of fun and occasional frustration await you! Devs have put in a lot of hard work and it shows.

The Scenery is beautiful, but the story is a mess. Gameplay hasn't really changed from previous FarCry titles.

The ending is inconclusive and unconsequential. The journey to get there comes across as forced and resembles some sort of white board arithmetic.

If you have your heart set on playing FarCry 5 wait until its onsale for atleast 75% off. It won't be worth your money otherwise.

If you don't want to bother with mods its worth the money.

If you are going to mod it you might as well get the originals and mod the high res textures in. You'll save yourself a couple dollars atleast.

An essential none the less in The Elder Scrolls series.
