An Epic Space Adventure: Mastering Everspace
Prepare to die a lot, but with each death you will get stronger and die again, until you will be strong enough.

Everspace is a space combat roguelike that offers a unique blend of stunning visuals, immersive exploration, and tactical combat. From the moment I started playing, I was hooked by the game's challenging mechanics and the depth of its gameplay.

One of the things that sets Everspace apart is its variety of ships and equipment. I've had a blast experimenting with different loadouts and finding game-changing combinations. For example, starting with a Scout equipped with a teleporter and the 'Sensory Overload' glyph completely changed my approach to the game. This combo allowed me to take my time in each sector, removing the stress of sensor mods or tractor mods, and even making the cloak mod feel overpowered!

The game also offers a sense of progression that keeps you coming back for more. Each run, whether successful or not, contributes to your overall progress. I've found myself returning to Sector 7 time and time again, each time with a new strategy or piece of equipment to try out.

But what truly sets Everspace apart is its immersive world. The mystery of the missing lab in a huge empty crater, the anticipation of what HIVE will throw at me next, and the thrill of reaching Sector 7 time and time again have kept me hooked.

In conclusion, Everspace offers a challenging but rewarding experience that encourages experimentation and strategic thinking. If you're a fan of space combat games or roguelike games, I highly recommend giving Everspace a try.

Having completed the main storyline, Just Cause 3 evoked fond memories of the destructible environment that I thoroughly enjoyed in the Red Faction games. Besides this, the game offered just the right amount of fun for me. It felt like an uncomplicated open-world sandbox shooter, which was a refreshing experience.

This was my first time playing a Just Cause game, and I found its model truly enjoyable.

P.S. I got it on an amazing sale; it cost me just 15 NIS including the DLCs. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Gameplay is epic! Do not be scared by minecraft like graphics. Battlebit bring best of battlefield series and then mixes it with Squad like gameplay. I enjoyed stealthy sniping and team gameplay. VOIP and body draggign features made a lot of fun moments, and I recording my game session on my youtube chanells. Worth every dollar and I wish devs will make it even better as time goes on.
Hope I would be able to change Russian faction to some else :D

A Stellar Adventure with a Twist of Diplomacy - Yet Lacking Direct Control

I recently spent a weekend playing Stellaris for free on Steam, and my experience with the game was a mixed bag. The game presents an impressive blend of cosmic exploration, intricate diplomacy, and engaging narratives reminiscent of Space Rangers. However, for someone who appreciates the direct control over battles offered by games like Warband and Space Rangers, Stellaris falls short.

The combat system in Stellaris is entirely AI-controlled. Despite having a decently sized fleet, I found it frustrating that I couldn't personally influence the battles. I felt that with direct control, I could have potentially turned the tide in my favor.

One of the highlights of Stellaris is the smart implementation of diplomacy. The game forces you to strategize your alliances and relationships, a feature that saw me establish a federation of several galactic empires and maintain peace for a commendable 74 in-game years. However, a promise of independence to a subject of one of my federation allies led to an unexpected rebellion and an ironic situation of having to fight my own ally.

The tech advancement system in Stellaris, while interesting, does not provide a clear tree like in Civilization(I didn't care to dig and look for it on google and external WIKIs). This made the progression feel somewhat random and less strategic.

A noteworthy mention is the random special events in the game, which added an element of surprise and made the gameplay more engaging.

In conclusion, while Stellaris provides an entertaining blend of strategy and diplomacy with some unexpected twists, the lack of direct control over combat outcomes and a less than clear tech advancement system were significant shortcomings for me. If you enjoy strategy and don't mind AI-controlled combat, Stellaris might still appeal to you. However, for players seeking a more hands-on approach to battles and a clear tech progression, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Based on my personal experience and preferences, I find it difficult to recommend Stellaris.

for 8 hours single player campaign that i payed 90% discounted price for, it was rock solid entertainment, too bad it didn't manage to find players for multiplayer. Wouldn't recommend for full price though because single player is short.
Graphic is great, game play is very entertaining enjoyed that campaign very much!!

So many beautiful locations, I did not expect main story to be so long and after clearing each region I was pleasantly surprised that main story keeps on giving. Really enjoyable trip to rich historic setting. Main story could be more interesting , but it feels bit weak. World feels alive and I love that people and animals are sleeping and doing their own things. Over all enjoying the game very much, and recommend to pick it during sales for around 13$ ! :D and not usual prices.

very fun rogue like shooter, top down, I started as sniper and put max difficulty and challenge feels great. Combat is fast paced, there is a big curve to learn and I like it. There are some stuff to polish, but for me it didn't ruin main experience.

play if you miss hearing squeaky teenagers voice cursing your family lineage in various techniques. I play for FPS thrills and game delivers. I dislike VOIP comms on casual games, because there are much useless human noise.

I come from thousand of Tarkov game play hours, DMZ have lot of potential. Right now game randomly crashes mid raid and it is not possible to log in back. That is no go moment for such game. Once this fixed I could actually try to review it :D
