This review is from a standpoint of someone looking for replayability via multiplayer with friends.

A terrible launch, not recommended. Game should have been postponed for atleast a couple months.
Multiplayer is currently basically false advertisement. There are no servers, its only peer to peer. Meaning you need to have someone with a public ip or use a third party program to create a fake LAN connection between player (like hamachi or radmin vpn). And without them needs almost always necessary port forwarding.
There is no ready button in the lobby, any time anyone changes anything (colour, nation, bonus) it closes everyone elses drop down menu.

And even then, we werent able to actually play together, any time any of us who tried hosting started the game (without any ready up process mind you) everyone else was booted back to the multiplayer lobby search screen without any error messages.
Only the host proceeded to join into the game.

Cant comment on the actual gameplay as this became so frustrating we just collectively gave up.

Ill see you guys in 3 months once its not going to be playable not because of these issues, but because its going to release a DLC which is going to break the game for everyone who doesnt own it.

Below is a TLDR of the steps that I've went through during my 39 minutes of play time:

Step 1: Denial
Reviews must be wrong, ignore them, I'm sure I'll be able to play with friends
Step 2: Anger
This is the step that most people will hit when they realise they need a public ip, and that they most likely need to port forward
Step 3: Bargaining
Just use hamachi or other VPN programs, then its going to work
Step 4: Depression
It won't work, and at this point you wont know why. You and your friends will be in a lobby together, the host will press play, and then all of you except the host will stay in the lobby.
Step 5: Acceptance
Accept the fact that for whatever reason // they designed it in a way where only the person whose turn it is, is in the game. The rest wait and join the game once its their turn //
(this part is untested, only what I've heard from people with more patience than me, so while the general message of this statement is the same, details are a bit iffy)

But hey, steam refunds are easier to do.

Excelent weight loss plan. You can eat something greasy and throw up while playing this for a couple minutes.
PS - there's a few landing pads around the city that refuel you and increase your turbo level.
