Never played any other Civ game before. Some friends convinced me to try it out in MP. While I did not have a clue what to do in the first 20 hours it was well worth it to invest some time to get the hang of it.

800+ hours later I can say: This is one of the best games I've ever played!

If you are into 4x, round-based or historic games you will have a blast!

The modding community is incredibly active and I've started modding myself, since it's nice to give something back.

Besides gameplay this game got me interested in history like no other! And the feeling to accompany a nation from ancient history to the future is just unique!
