The only triple A title worth full price

Laughably unbalanced and time consuming, even compared to the grind-fest that's the base game.

Everyone hypes this game up so much, for a lot of reasons, but most of these incredibly well executed ideas fall apart super quickly. Super frustrating game and not Dark Souls-frustrating, straight up "This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks"-frustrating. Everything punishes you, especially for doing the things the game seemingly wants you to do.

The physics are incredible -in theory-, but you can't use them, you just get punished by them e.g. by being killed by acid or fire or all the other stuff. Using liquids or falling objects strategically is impossible, due to spells to modify the environment being rare and limited use. There are only a few positive effects, like potions, but they only give you a marginal advantage and last for a way too short time.

The wand system is incredible -in theory-, but you can't use it outside of level transitions, unless you find an extremely rare perk in one of those level transitions. Useful spells (like destruction spells to modify the environment and strategically use the game mechanics) are also extremely rare and limited use.

The biome system is incredible -in theory-, but most of the games areas are straight up closed off or inaccesible unless you get lucky. The difficulty curve jumps violently up after the third ancient temple, making it practically impossible to pass.

I wanna like this game so bad but it's just not fun.

Running a Server is a nightmare, game is buggy as hell, grindy (but the bad grindy not the good grindy), unoptimized and only fun when playing coop on a private server but that's impossible to do without buying some dumb online server provider because running one on your own server is horrible because the server software sucks

CS2 looks good and I like the smokes but a lot of content has been removed and it is unclear whether or when it will return.
