Verdun is a great representation of what ww1 was like, IE lots and lots of dying. when 32 people are renacting battles that sometimes took thousends of lives. your going to die a lot. so if you are the type of person who cares dearly about their k/d and hates dieing in games, DO NOT GET THIS GAME. but if you are the type of person who doesent mind repeatly dieing in games and has fun, then verdun will serve your itch rather well. if you are even remotly intrested in ww1 i recomend picking up verdun. its faithfully recreates what ww1 was like, you feel like a lone young soldier in a world full of death.its easy to get immersed in verdun. verdun does many things things that most fps dont do. its a very unique shooter. there is no mindless running around with bullet sponge soldiers that have endless ammo and rapid fire weapons. most guns in verdun are bolt action rifles that have 5 to 6 bullets. 90% of all guns are one hit kills and if not 2 hit kills. so if you want a modern fps set in ww1 go play battlefield one. if you want to play a game that simulates what ww1 was like and does many of the oposite things that most fps do. then i highly recomend picking verdun.
