i'm drunk as ♥♥♥♥ right now and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do i love bass.i'm biased seeing as im posting this in a bass forum but ♥♥♥♥ man why does anyone choose to play something besides bass? now that i say that though i'm quite happy bass is still one of those underground things. just enough popularity to make it not an obscure instrument like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ timpani or something but not the type of instrument that EVERYONE wants to do. i think its important to take a moment every once in a while to be like "♥♥♥♥ yeah bass". anyways, i've always felt that bassists connect easier than almost any other group of musicians (this is my personal experience, there's a solid chance im talking out of my ass). I never feel like i'm competing with other bassists, its always friendly if not even collaborative vibe with most bassists from other bands i meet. everybody else seems like they're always trying to be better than each other while us bassists are just hangin out swapping war stories
