If you liked Supreme Commander 1, this is that but on a larger scale.

So this game sounds really stupid, right? Sounds like just driving trucks around? Well, that's totally what it is. However, its a lot more fun than it originally sounds, and for some reason, it's kept me coming back for more.

When you first start the game, you are asked to create a company for your trucking business. When you start, you don't have enough capital or credit to take out a loan, so you just take "quick missions" running freight from European city to city. This serves as a pretty good introduction to the game, and allows you to get a good feel for how the game plays. This is what drew me in. I had a lot more fun than you'd expect attaching the back of the trailer to the truck and driving it around the roads. There's not much actual city driving, as the cities themselves are pretty small. But that's okay. As I found out one day, I really am not playing this game to sit in traffic, so if there was just a bunch of city with cars, I don't think I'd like it very much. Sure, it would be more "real", but sometimes you should sacrifice reality for fun.

After you get the trailer hitched up, you roll out of the industrial park you picked it up in and get on the road. This game doesn't work with a controller, as there are too many buttons to push to fit on a controller. You need to use you turn indicators, check your mirrors and change your views. You need to drive inside the lines, not hit other cars, and generally just obey all traffic laws. Again, this sounds really boring, but when you finally get to your destination, and you haven't hit anyone, its pretty rewarding. It also helps most cars drive faster than you, so you don’t have to play that annoying weaving game of trying to pass cars because they drive 20 MPH below the speed limit.

When you get enough capital, you can take out a loan and buy your own truck. The trucks they have for sale are all real trucks, and all have different stats and strengths. You then can take missions for your business and every mission has advantages and disadvantages (eg, the dangerous cargo gives you the most money). Every mission your complete (quick job or company mission) gives you experience and level up various stats, such as levels of dangerous cargo, increased fuel efficiency, and increased money for each mission. I haven’t got too far into the business side of the game, but I hear you can hire other drivers to work for you.
Overall, I enjoy this game thoroughly. For some reason, it’s compelling to come back just drive by the trees and fields of Europe, even if they're not the real thing.

This is a great MOBA and combines it with a platformer very well. What's nice about this game, is that there are only 3 people per side. This makes every hero important, and doesn't allow much room for slackers. This also allows you to keep track of who is who and where they are much easier, as there are only three people. It's also much easier to find a group of people to play with, when you only need 2 other people.

Another great thing about this game is the fact that there are not tons of Awesomenauts in the game. Every MOBA has the learning curve part of it, but this game's learning curve isn't too steep. Each Awesomenaut only has 2 special attacks, and 1 regular punch(or shoot) attack, giving it a lot of similarities to Super Smash Bros. One thing that game did really well was its ease of adoption: it was easy to pick up and learn and play.

That's not to say there isn't depth. The game allows you to unlock new skills as you gain overall account experience, and this allows you to customize what skills each awesomenaut has, forcing you to choose to fit a play style. This allows for depth later on, but presents each skill one or two a time, allowing you to digest them and make sense of them.

Overall, a very fun and compelling experience. The online play isn't too tough at first, but ramps up as you advance in levels. Recommend to anyone wanting a MOBA with Super Smash Bros controls and aesthetic.

There's something to be said for asymetric shooters, and this game balances RTS and Shooting elements, all while offering two very differnt experiences for each side. Game is worth a shot if you like team based shooting, especially when it goes on sale.

A really cool physics based game. haven't gotten too far into yet, but I'm really digging the concept so far. Seems like it would transfer well to the big screen.

CS:GO Review
There's not much more you can say about CS that hasn't already been said. It's one of the best refined shooters ever in existence. They released the same old maps with this version, and I do not find myself wishing they had more. The ones they include are refined so well, that you don't even mind playing them over and over. Each map has been developed and honed over years and years of play, that every spot has a counter spot. and that spot has another counter spot.

The guns are much different than the old counter strikes. Valve seem to be working on making every gun viable, in one situation or another. The M4 and the AK are still the favorites, as they have the most utility. But, the SG553 and the AUG have their uses, mostly in long range situations. There are uses for the SMGs, and the pistols as well. This makes for a more interesting game, as its not as if one set way is to win the game.

The sound is great once again and the graphics are refined and honed in a way that doesn't "wow" you, but it never gets old to look at, which is the most important part. Overall, a phenomenal multiplayer experience which is matched by few other things.

I've played this game lots since I wrote this recommendation. My appreciation has only grown since I've played more and more. The competitive scene is my newest hobby. I follow the teams and their stats almost religiously. The meta game that the competitive side engages in is what makes this game so fascinating to me. It shares a lot of commonalities to football. This meta game will never end and when you are playing against another player, they will always have something new eventually.

I cannot recommend this game enough, especially if you are into E-Sports, Tactical First Person Shooters and team games.

If you're looking for a modern city building game, this is the best one out there that I have found so far. It's got a great variety of aspects to pay attention to. Its campaign is diverse so far, and challenges you to think on your feet. And, its got a good sense of humor! I'm enjoying playing this a lot. Took me a while to get into it, but once I did, I really enjoyed it

Fantastic game. Great story line, character development and level design. It almost feels like playing the first Bioshock again. The environment and atmosphere is well developed, the mecahnics are phenomenal and differences in environments is great. I loved the story and how it tied into the first game in a non corny way, and that I loved that it had a scientific edge to it. It basis itself in actual quantum mechanics, and art based off of real life is fantastic. Highly reccomend at least one play through
