It's the game, you can't describe properly to people, while trying to recommend it.
You need to hop into it blindly, and never lose hope that you're doing everything right. It's the game that won't tell you a thing straight out with text, except for control buttons.

In terms of gameplay, level-design, visual-design and audio-design, in my opinion it is a very competent game, that also has an open field for interpretation in terms of setting, this game basically forces your brain to ask questions about this world.
