4 Hours in, and I say that I like it.
Is it like DA:O? no it's not, it's as far removed from it as it ever was.
Is it more like DA:I? yes, sorta. I can't help but feel like it's been stripped more of that old RPG style that we used to love DA for, but the story continuous, the characters we loved are (no spoilers, but I've seen a few already) are in here. The world is DA. So, yes, I pick the parts that I liked, and focus on that.

I wish other lessons were learned, going from one instalment to the other. For one thing, I wanted it to be the mature story that it was back in the beginning. Another thing is that I would like, and this is more of general grudge of games lately, even the beloved BG3, is that characters are characters and not caricatures.

This is not your standard ARGP, and a comparison to them seems wrong, this is far more an isometric Souls-like. I really dig the art style, but it can be off-putting if you don't. It has everything atm that an Early Access game has and many things will likely change ( looking at you inventory ) I myself like it with 20 hours in.

The new merger buildings give it a few more twists and turn and ofcourse fun
