Early Access Review
A real diamond in the rough. It definitely needs some polish, but it is still in early access as of the writing of this review. So we’ll get into the positive first.

Successfully frightening, the dark atmosphere sets you up to be anxious about what’s around every corner, so when something DOES show up it’s genuinely fear inducing, even if nothing bad happens immediately. The dungeons are cramped and claustrophobic, with mazes that are labyrinthine, but not so much as to get you hopelessly lost within. Love that there is a mechanic to revive your friends that you have to actively participate in, and loot isn’t worth much, which really forces you to get back in those dark, dank crypts and scrounge. Good gameplay loop and great atmosphere.

The negative. I am hoping these will be improved upon in future updates, since the game is still brand new at the time of writing.

The game is in desperate need of some audio options. Right now the only audio you can adjust is your own mic volume. You cannot adjust other players’ volume or the volume of the game from within the game. And let me tell you, everything is so LOUD. The range of the proximity audio could also be extended, though I’m not sure if it’s just that you can’t hear your friends over the ambient noise at full volume. Please give us audio options!!

There are also definitely some bugs, I don’t want to spoil too much, but getting caught in geometry is a thing that happened for me and also for enemies. I also think that jumping up stairs can get your character stuck in a “half jumping” pose, which is quite startling for other players lol. One of my friends also had their character model stuck facing one direction somehow? So he started running backwards everywhere on my screen. These are probably to be expected at this point in development, and the only one that really affected my enjoyment of the game was the lack of ability to adjust my audio settings.

Overall this game has great bones, and I look forward to seeing it improve.

Short and sweet! A very cute game. I think it was well worth the $20.

An extremely fun multiplayer horror game to go into blind. It's fun to watch your friends die to get those sweet, sweet views.

I've had this game on my wishlist for a while, so when I saw it was on sale for $6, I knew I had to snatch it up. It's a refreshing take on sci-fi thrillers in gaming. Rather than putting you in the role of some hero of the space station with a gun taking care of issues with your space gun, you're put into a rather passive role, observing the station around you as the ship's AI. Many times you're forced to sit and watch as something happens, unable to actively do anything to help. It really helps to set the mood of the game. I will say there were some puzzles that were not very well choreographed, and it could be a little frustrating at times as there wasn't much in the way of explaining how some of them worked. This is really the only issue I had with the game. Other than that, it was a great little sci-fi thriller with some terrifying scenes and a fun concept.

This game is fantastic! Its sound design is incredible and somehow this game manages to be both horrifying and hilarious. Standing in complete silence while you watch your friend silently try to dodge a monster that is actively trying to eat them is a surreal experience. The dynamic proximity chat makes for some very funny moments of hearing your friends muffled screams from another room as they are horrifically murdered.

The game is early access so there is still a little jank and I think there are some quality of life changes that would be great to implement, such as being able to use your walkie-talkies when you have another item in your hand. But even as is the game is an absolute blast to play. Highly recommend!

Good movement, good mechanics, good story, good voice acting, and the ability to adjust volume BEFORE the game starts playing sounds at you. This game is all around fantastic. I am obsessed.

If you enjoy speculative biology and nature documentaries you will absolutely enjoy this. The visual style is gorgeous and you can definitely tell that there was a lot of work and a lot of love put into this project. Absolutely recommend for a good hour and a half. Just approach it like watching a documentary and you'll have a great time.

This game is so fun! If you like DOOM and rhythm games, you'll definitely have fun with this one. I like that it has accessibility options for those who may have problems staying on beat. All in all, the story isn't too deep, but it's enjoyable and the gameplay is very fun. I had a couple of hiccups where the game crashed, but honestly my PC is getting a little outdated so I think with better specs you should be fine performance wise. The music is fantastic if you like metal, with the BBEG battle song featuring Serj Tankian of System of a Down!!! Highly recommended and I am hoping they release an OST soon.

I played this game and got all the achievements in about 6 hours. I'm not sure that it has a lot of replay value, but considering it was only $12 I'm not too upset about that.

The visuals are a little rough but stylized enough that you don't really mind after a few minutes. The physics are a little wonky, and the gameplay is a lot of "go here, talk to this person, come back.".

But, there are a plethora of cute animals to pet, an interesting take on a cooking minigame, and pretty decent character customization. The game has a very friendly, cheerful vibe to it, and was overall relaxing to play and interesting enough to keep my attention.

The game is only $12, so don't expect anything mind blowing. But I would definitely recommend it.

Everyone in this game is so...so ugly. The menu system is janky, it's easy to ♥♥♥♥ yourself over by allocating points into the wrong stats...

But I love this game so much. The creativity in the writing of the questlines puts Skyrim's to shame. Sure Skyrim looks nicer and has more user friendly mechanics but every quest is just "Go here. Kill enemies. Come back. Collect gold.". At least Oblivion's quests allow you some creativity.

Maybe it's nostalgia speaking, but this game was, and still is, incredibly fun and a great way to waste a few hours of your day. Don't expect much visually speaking, (and maybe turn down the difficulty a little), and you should have a great time.
