Yet another Dontnod banger, cant wait for tape 2 today

This is a very nice free little game to play alongside LiS2. But why the ♥♥♥♥ does it even have Denuvo for. Like, I don’t like Denuvo, but I get why some stupid publishers think not having it means no one will buy their games even though that’s due to their games being trash (Square Enix, you’re not innocent).
After all, like lord GabeN has said « Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem. » So, Square Enix, what is the incentive to PAY a whole lot of money to put the strongest game DRM on a FREE GAME, NO ONE WOULD WANT TO PIRATE IT, IT IS FREE, AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN. WHY. Seriously outside of me hating Denuvo, this is just COSTING you money.
I read it was to prevent people from reverse engineering the game to play LiS2 on it. Fine. But LiS2 WAS LITERALLY CRACKED LESS THAN 3 DAYS AFTER RELEASE. (Still bought it). Just remove the damn DRM already 😭
