Chibi-Robo is a racket. They sell you this little robot under the guise that it's programmed to make you happy, and while it does clean, cook, pick up trash, etc., it also steals your money to buys "upgrades" from its manufacturer on top of the upfront cost of the robot itself, plus accessories. Each Chibi-Robo is graded by rank based on how happy (or docile) they make the people who purchased them, implying those which are at a higher rank can steal the most money without being noticed or else stopped. As long as its people are happy with their purchase, the robot is free to continue sending money to Citrusoft. Think about it.
