Early Access Review
Currently with a total of around 700 hours played (counting the oculus hours also) I would have recommended this game to everyone before the patch 1.8 launched. Yes it's gonna be one of those reviews.

Quest Players

If you are a quest player who likes to pick up a game and sociallize while scream Rush B in a Uplink match go for it, this is your game.

Tactical players (PvE)

If you like to play vs Bots and have some sort of tactical feeling which is being advertised as the game I recommend you use discord to find some players you can play with else you might have a bad time. Also going to say that the bots in this game suck, personally I don't find them any fun to play against.

Competitive players

If you like to play a competitive this is a hard NO, before 1.8 (Quest support came with 1.8) the game wasn't perfect but it was even, therefor a more competitive side to it. With the new update and support for quest this has gone down the drain. There are different graphics sets for the headsets so the most obvious thing is objects, some objects are not visible on the Quest and they are on PCVR. This means when you think you are safe behind a rock don't count on it. Could be so that the Quest players don't see that rock and can just shoot you.

This might get fixed but it doesn't take away the effect that players on a certain platform have a disadvantage. Liek how you used to turn down all the graphics on a PC game to see less grass so players are more visible.

This will not be the case with Onward since the LOW settings on PCVR is not EXACTLY the same to the LOW settings on Quest.

The VRML (Virtual Master League) was keeping this game alive for me, public lobby's wasnt much for me anyways.
Even tho VRML isn't perfect with switching to a gamebreaking patch mid season and let it flow with banning most of the utility it was mostly playable. But that is not for this review.

Downpour Interactive is taking too much time to fix the current bugs, there for I don't recommend this game.
I bought a game which was made totally different, and they say they will make it the way it was but can hardly believe that with the Quest limits. You have to wait weeks for performance updates, till then you simply can just not play the game.
Every patch you hope you have decent FPS and they did not break too much stuff in the game.
