First impressions are positive. Playing this with a friend and seems like a lot of fun with the right people. So far the community seems great and friendly. Surely planning on continuing to support this game.

I played it only briefly so far, but my first impressions for this game are positive. I played every single main Assassin's Creed game on console and this is my first true pc experience with an Assassin's Creed game. I bought the Gold Edition on release and so far it looks promising.

However I am tampered with some audio glitches and occasional stutters (even with a GTX 1080Ti) on my second startup. Usuallly restarting the game makes things better for me.

My first impression of this game is that it feels very different from the older Assassin's Creed games. There is no more minimap, in favor of a Skyrim-like location bar at the top of the screen. There are tons and tons of quests and this is the first open world from Ubisoft which doesn't feel blatantly shallow and empty to me. There are loads of things to do and see and makes the game even more wonderful. The new RPG-like combat system takes some getting used to, but feels like a nice change of pace from the usual combat systems this game series has seen so far. And the soundtrack... the soundtrack is truly incredible. The only things that may put some people off is the grind. There is quite a bit of grinding to do in order to get better weapons and fight higher level enemies than you. But after all, they switched Assassin's Creed to an RPG more than ever now.

If you're a fan of the series and you'd like to see the foundations of the Brotherhood and the early connections to the First Civilization, full with temple-like puzzles from AC2 to exploring a huge beautiful open world full of content and customize your character to your heart's content, this game is for you.

No hackers online, and plenty of active players. Reliving old times :D 10/10
