Once you get hit, you're in for a long ride, but you should DP more. Sol's DP is very good. Helps you turn around many bad situations. I have a hunch that you were playing Strive before the way you were using 6P as AA. Doesn't work like that in Xrd. You don't have the upper body invincibility.
Besides that there's dead angle, which allows you to knock back your opponent while you're in blockstrings.
Usually when you end up in the corner witch Ram, it's because you've lost neutral, which you should never do against her, because her neutral sucks. In exchange, she gets to rape you in the corner. I know that's not really good advice for a beginner, since the difference in experience makes it really hard for you to win neutral.

I don´t think Hanekawa could´ve been removed from Kizu. Sure, her parts with Araragi were long (too long if you´re not a fan of his perverted site/dialogues) but it served as a bridge between the Araragi from Kizu to Bake. Additionally, she was a pretty good comedy relief at times.
It was the first time he really interacted with someone outside his comfort zone and had genuine fun. Hanekawa was pretty much his first friend and set-up all the coming events as well.
Also, it established a certain image of her which Bake 3 and especially Neko Black/White crushed and they wouldn´t have worked nearly as well without this buid-up. I agree the passages could´ve been shortened but at least for me her role for Araragi and herself is too important.

And, concerning Nadeko, isn´t every character in Monogatari somehow flawed? She just seemed like selfish girl who was willingly deceived in the second season, because she didn´t have faith in herself and wanted to run away.

I don´t say Nadeko isn´t a very well-written character but I find her the only unlikeable character to a certain degree. Due to her second story arc in particular. I only remember her as this selfish child. Though why you think Hanekawa was misplaced in Kizu?

Even though Ononoki isn´t properly charaterized directly throughout the story, her way of speaking, dialogue lines and actions do a great job at giving her a unique personality. Isn´t this indirect characterization perfect for a doll? I also love her because of those things.

Ononoki or Shinobu are the best grills, obviously. Don´t know how you can argue against that.

My Ougi is clearly superior (and who thinks Nadeko is best grill?! wtf .-.)
