Old-fashioned choose-your-own adventure in a nifty computer game form. If you love reading, this is definitely for you. If you don't enjoy reading, well... I guess just don't bother ;)

A short, sweet, and emotional VN about three young adult friends navigating their feelings and sexuality. An exploration of queer themes, this is perfect for people who are LGBTQ or who have friends and family who are. Very wholesome and cute, my only complaints are I wanted more story!

First off: big language warning, a slur or three, some swearing, Violence, kinda gritty like Tarantino film. No gore, let's just say the Devil on one shoulder is bigger than the Angel on the other one. If you hate politics of any kind, this is NOT for you!
First-person visual Novel/rpg/loan shark simulator with pixel graphics. You can choose to be feminine, but the story is geared more toward masc/butch- which basically made me a tough lesbian lol
Get ready to be either the slimiest greed-bag, or dead-broke schmuck. Talk to questionable people. Loan them money (or not), set the interest (or don't), seal the deal or tell them to screw off... and that's just your day job! Then you go shopping, talk to questionable people, do questionable things... it goes on like that until you get killed or are able to pay off YOUR loan shark! Pyramid schemes, amirite?? Other things can happen.
This game kicked my @$$ on the first play-thru, and I still enjoyed the journey enough to go a few more times. Not for everyone, but I do recommend it highly.

Worth every penny, plus the Workshop community is amazing. Challenging, fun, some issues with the UI, and I think I got soft-locked at one point (probably the mods). Some of the color schemes are kind of headache/nausea inducing but hey, that's just my personal taste
Reminds me of games I played on my friends computer ages ago, great creepy atmosphere, and yes it's basically a horror manga turned into a pc game and it's freakin' amazing! Many pluses. few flaws

Wow, I love this! Still on my first play-through but I'm enjoying the story. The art is very cute, and I love all the pop-culture references. So far, I'm playing as "myself", may give it a few more goes with drastically different decisions- we'll see. I'm enjoying my time with this VN and no complaints, and yes the "character creation" could probably use more work. Very much worthwhile! Can't wait to play the sequel

"Let's Have Dinner" is a phrase that will trigger me from now until... forever.

One of my new favorite crpg's! Couldn't wait to get the full version after playing the week-long demo. Unique setting, amazing world-building, different fun builds for your character, plus the modding community has added so many creative extras! I actually had fun creating about six or seven characters for myself & saving the builds before I even started playing. I enjoy tinkering around with games like that. If you were- or still are! -into computer games like the original Ultima and also love table-top rpg's like RIFTS & Gamma World; this game is definitely going to be at the top of your list!

This game is still in its last stages of development (as of this review) but still highly playable. The retro graphics may or may not turn younger players off, and it is a truly open-world game where you have to put a lot of information together on your own. Decent UI, and I LOVE the music.

I have nominated this for the 2024 "Labor of Love", one of my top favorites.

As a fan of rpgs, jrpgs, crps, roguelikes, and rogue-lites... I absolutely LOVE this free game. Nice retro look & ui. Kind of reminds me of a game I played on a friend's Amiga pc back in the day. I'm still trying to save up for Caves of Qud, because I fell in love when the demo was available for a week (I made numerous pc's for like 2 days) and Moonring is a great way to scratch the itch I got from that!
So many things I want to try in the world of Moonring, fascinating and fun!

A bleak, darkly humorous retro-style pixel graphics game about being a poor immigrant from another planet trying to make a new home on a future Earth blighted by pollution & hyper-capitalism. Interesting mechanics & a somewhat gritty premise, the game allows you to play as one of three creatures, two of them alien, one is an... "escaped experiment". Each has unique abilities that make the game different every play-through. Plus, it's free!

Fun and simple retro-style game with a great science-fantasy retro-futurist Egyptology theme. Played this a few years back on my Android, glad to see it here because now I can play it on my laptop. Decent music, graphics that will take you back to NES, a fun story, and also an easy-to-learn yet challenging game. Fun!
