I genuinely feel bad that people won't be able to get this after the season ends. I've been playing since season 4 and this is the best one I have seen.

A royale game for people that don't like royales and isn't greedy about it either. Also it has a ton of animal puns.

The royale itself is rather brutal with very short rounds (no running around for 5min without encountering a single enemy) and actually remembers it is a royale and not an arena shooter. You are rewarded more for surviving than kills, in fact there is even an achievement for a pacifists victory in solo. Even if not taken seriously it can be enjoyed but don't expect to survive long.

The "endgame" is fashion animals. You get the customize the skin of your Super Animal, hat, eyewear, face, neck/outer wear, torso, weapons, umbrella, death explosion, and gravestone. Unlike a lot of games that simply give you a few skins with little customization beyond that. Vets of this game will typically go with a single look with occasionally going outside of it (My main is decked out in as much Default Fox stuff as I can get)

One thing to note is that it always has one of two non-royale mode available and is worth giving the game a try just for them. One is called SAW Vs. Rebels and is a team based capture point mode. You pick one of the available classes and try to capture the three control points on the map.
The other mode is called "Bwoking Dead" which is an infection type mode where you are either a survivor or a zombie chicken. Survivors try to last until the escape point is available and to be standing on it at the end of the match. If a survivor dies they turn into a zombie chicken. The zombies goal is to simply eliminate all the survivors before they escape.

The monetization is extremely friendly with season passes being fairly cheap (you can afford the current with the season starter pack) and they even give premium currency in them. Once you buy a season you own it: it doesn't expire. You can also buy past season which also don't expire (but they cost slightly more). You also get a constant flow of non-premium currency which you can buy a ton of cosmetics with.

The community can be very friendly when waiting for a match in the lobby but will turn feral once you encounter them in a match (it is a brutal game). Insults are virtually non-existent.

The things in the shop are a bit pricey if you try to buy them outright which is my only complaint. Outside of that I have no hesitation dropping a few bucks whenever a new season rolls around. You can get very far on getting the cosmetics you want with wise "dolphining".

Overall an easy to learn, difficult to master royale game with non-royale modes that doesn't feel like it is trying to squeeze money out of you.

Do you like this game? Do you have any desire for cosmetics at all?
If yes to both of those then you should get this.

Best 4 player COOP since L4D2 and better in ways. A team of less than 4 or even solo still feels very enjoyable.

The negative reviews can be summed up as one of two opinions.
1: This DLC is essential and should be part of the base game. Downvote.
2: This DLC is pointless and there is no point in getting it. Downvote.

My opinion? I have had deer be startled by the sound of me driving down the road and leap out in front of me. 10/10 would die to realistic deer behavior again.

A one stop way to experience Halo. From Combat Evolved, to ODST, to Reach.

A unique take on a survival/management/builder game. Trying to manage between keeping your dups (the people living in the asteroid) happy, productive, well fed, germ free, and of course breathing can be quite the challenge.

It starts you off simple enough with only a few things to build and manage. As time goes on and you build more you will start to have new things to manage. For example most of the machinery produces heat and after a while it starts to build up and you have to find some way to cool your colony or your poor dups will risk burning up.

A bit pricey but enjoyable and will keep you occupied for a while. Also one of the most well polished games I have ever seen.

A good game for the easily frustrated or for those who just want to take it easy for a while.

An entire game based around being an underwater level. Yet somehow manages to be enjoyable.
