Really fun little game. Casual, but challenging. Reminds me of Metroid 2 (on the Gameboy). Really nothing bad to say about it at all. If they made the soundtrack available for purchase, I'd buy it.

Just not very fun, unfortunately. Maybe worth the $0.99 if you REALLY enjoy mindless shooters sort of like some of the games on Action 52, but gets stale about 17 seconds into playing.

If you liked the original Pirates!, definitely give this a try. It's basically a remade version of the original with a few new features. Think is to the original what Starflight on the Genesis was to the original. If you didn't like Pirates! to begin with, probably won't like this one.
