In this game you're playing as a little robot with a broken lens, who is trying to figure out what happened to him. During his journey you accompany him through a variety of levels with various settings. To move on you have to spot a certain number of differences in each area. Collecting pages from the book also helps with figuring out his story.

I really like the detailed drawings and different settings of the areas we visit during the little robot's journey. Gathering the pages and uncovering the secrets was also a nice addition to the story.

But on to the parts which really bugged me - I am sad to admit that I got frustrated pretty early on. There are several layers in every picture, which each move with different speed while scrolling trough it. This either leaves different areas covered or uncovered. You can zoom into the picture, but you can't zoom into the edges, and you also can't really see the background while zoomed in. You often have to zoom out and position the camera in a weird angle to find what you're supposed to look for. Also, the hint system is not really helpful. When you press on the green button it gives you a hint, which then encircles a large area, where you have to spot the difference. The circle also moving around while moving the camera just added on to my frustration, so it sometimes took me up to 15 minutes and several tries to then find what I was supposed to look for in the encircled area.

The differences were a wild mix from easy to spot to a literal brushstroke being mirrored - the latter being a little uncalled for in my opinion. Overall, I sadly did not have a good time with this game and I would not recommend it to someone who gets frustraded easily.

Kudos to the developers though, for actually listening to their audience and removing the hint based achievements.

They were right when they said that this is not a game, because I hated every second of it.

One of the few games I can always come back to and never grow tired of.
