A weregiraffe came out of nowhere and started killing my dwarves so I gave my militia a kill order. Just as they arrived, the weregiraffe transformed back into the little dwarf girl she was and began running away in terror. I felt awful, but maintained the kill order. When she finally died, I discovered her clothes were drenched in her own tears.

My dwarves laid her to rest with the highest honors they could bestow with their meager wealth. Shortly after sealing her tomb, four militia members transformed into weregiraffes and slaughtered the rest of my dwarves.

I guess I forgot the whole thing about werebeasts sharing their curse with a bite. Whoops.

As can be expected of a Cockroach Sim, Contagion is a little bit buggy.

I pre-ordered the Starbound Pixel Tier for $15 at playstarbound.com.

Starbound is a game very similar to Terraria. It is a 2D sidescrolling Minecraft-like. However, I was never able to get very much into Terraria, despite how fun it sounded in theory. Starbound takes Terraria's theoretical fun, fixes all the issues it had, adds tons of cool features, and plops you down on a random planet in a random star system in a random galaxy ...

The variety of planets accessible via your spaceship is practically infinite, as is the variety of flora and fauna found on them. Exploration is huge, combat is satisfying, and progression is clear. Multiplayer is a blast, and cooperative monster fighting and base building are mostly better than they are solo.

As of this review, the game is currently in beta and missing a great deal of content, and for testing purposes, progression is extremely quick and easy. Lots of content is slowly but steadily being added, and progression will eventually be appropriately extended and fleshed out.

Starbound will definitely keep me coming back for more, particularly as updates are released. 8/10, pending final content.

It can be a little difficult to get into in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it and you've started unlocking things, it starts to become incredibly fun and addicting!

A good short game for cheap. Only took a few hours to finish, but I feel I got my money's worth out of it. Combat is awkward at first, but satisfying once you get the hang of it. Story and characters are weird as hell (in a good way). However, the characters you "kill" keep coming back over and over again, which is a bit annoying.

From the moment I finally managed to launch a cult of glowing mutants into space aboard a rickety rocket, my life was changed forever.

Hands down the best Prince of Persia game out there. The time control mechanics are amazing, and the storytelling is great (you die - "No no, wait. That didn't happen!"). Think Assassin's Creed minus assassinations and open world plus time control, lots of puzzles, and satisfyingly ridiculous combat. Only nitpicks are that not only is it an old game, but the PC version is a port of the console version which means limited options and imprecise keyboard/mouse controls. Also I had issues with recording/streaming while I played.

Great game, but missing some of the looting fun from the original. Bring friends.
