I just turn on a run watch it for a bit and check in every once in a while while doing other things. Definitely a much higher tier idle game with some nice art and I personally find the loot system to be quite neat (for now). It can be nice to take control of your soda dungeoneers when in "harder" (i.e. statcheck) fights or for specific things, however, the ability to script your party to do certain actions at certain times is a pretty nice addition to the idle battler format and can add for a lot of tinkering with certain thresholds to find what works best. Meta progression feels rewarding while also being non-game breaking.

For a few hours of fun its a good way to spend some time with a couple of friends. If you like diablo, bullet hell type games (vampire survivors), you'll get good value for the price.

I love this game, if you're a fan of TTRPG's or RPGs in general I think it's a great game to try out especially if you can convince some friends to pick it up as well. Great game to play for a bit on a holiday or weekend to pour some very enjoyable time into it. Highly recommend it :)
