Highly recommend this gem of a game. For all its faults ragdolling over the galaxy its still a ton of fun

This is a game that I was completely unsure about at first but the game picks up the pace real quick until you've got so many more characters, weapons and powerups than you can know what to do with. It takes no time at all to learn how to play but a long time to actually start getting good.

This is a difficult game to review. Mainly because it is so incomplete. There are entire biomes to explore which are empty.

Its a pretty dull single player experience. However, get a group of players together and it comes into its own. Especially if building a town is something you feel like getting up to.

Factorio but with shapes

Terrible puzzles and a game full of bugs so bad you don't get achievements when you complete the tasks which should award them. At least the game played for me which is more than it does for some.

This game reminds me of everything I hate about MMO games. Interaction with other players is seriously clunky. There are player zones which make starting the game difficult I had to wander for 10 minutes once I realised there was an area claim system. There at this point doesn't seem to be a tutorial worth talking about.

The PVE is a grind with no worthwhile results and the PVP is a toxic hell where griefing and camping are commonplace.

Well its been a few years since that wonderful insight that I posted up there... Factorio has just kept getting better and better. Soon we'll be in space! SPACE! We finally made it.

So far so good. There's a good amount of building and tech to unlock. Have not played as much as I'd like to make it to the late game yet.

Still one of the best strategy games around with an active multiplayer community after so many years.

Each time I see new shiny Early Access game beign released in steam, I remember StarForge, then I dont buy it. That's how much this game has thought me. The same goes for pre-release purchases. Also paying attention to the user reviews. Another helpful feature that shows you how crap some games are so you dont need to buy them.
