I can not decide if this game is worth it for the long term tbh. I like the game itself, the multiplayer and most of the maps. What I dislike is the major advantage controller players have. The aids like aim assist is way too strong imo, I have seen examples where people completely missed me and where the crosshair just snapped on to me. Unless you have some decent experience with mouse and keyboard, it's almost impossible (for me) to get the advantage in close up battles.

I also got shot through walls 4 times and had some moments where people just aimed way off for the aim assist to kick in but still were able to hit me. If this is a preview on how the multiplayer is going to develop, things are not looking so good. Warzone for me was not even worth playing anymore because honest (average) players didn't stand a chance. I hope they will monitor and be proactive on this, but I have my doubts.

Not the way I wanted to write my first ever review on steam.

I really hoped this game would be okay after all the patches. Even the reviews on steam were increasingly becoming more and more positive. Sad to experience that this game is still a complete mess. And before the Elden Ring fanboys and girls start to nag about specs, trust me when I say my PC is very high end. Still, frame rate fluctuates all over the place when I come close to bosses or in between areas. There are freezes, loading issues, stutters and lag like I have never seen before in any game I've played. I really looked forward to playing this one because the genre is one of my favorite genres to play.

It seems though that From Software either has a lack of competent Devs to create a good working PC game (port), or they just don't care about PC gamers and focus on console. Fair enough btw but then also don't offer it on PC and ask a triple A amount for it. I'm glad a lot of people can play the game and accept the issues, for the money this company asks I expect the experience to be a lot better.

Oh, and this is just the out of the box game experience. Do not get me started on lack of ultra-wide support, bad mouse / keyboard settings and UI interface etc.
