While the rigid controls are definitely outdated (but that's how pretty much all of Capcom's older games were), I enjoy this title more than Dead Rising 3. I think the newer Dead Rising games ditched what made the first and second (and the other versions of the second) so great in exchange for more fluid movement and some concepts that make sense as an addition, not as a replacement.

I love the stress of everything having a time limit and there being multiple things on your to-do list at all times. The sandbox mode is pretty great too.

Early Access Review
It's come a long way since I first started playing. Combat and movement can still feel pretty clunky, but Alpha 18 is a huge step in the right direction with rewarding different playstyles.

I bought this game solely for the rhythm mechanics and I was not disappointed. The gameplay is loads of fun, the soundtrack is awesome, and the game actually offers a really nice challenge.

While it's a great idea, it gets old VERY fast. You can't directly fight any creatures, so if you don't have anything prepared, you're pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥, especially the further down the river you go. It hit the point where I was always fighting wolves and it was raining everywhere I went, and though I had the best gear and enough traps and weapons to handle everything, it was just annoying. The soundtrack isn't really my style, but I have recently fallen in love with Landsick and Flame in the Flood.

It had a lot of potential, but fell short.

I like this one more than the second one. It was pretty good, though the co-op deosn't allow you to leave the same screen, even during an online session, which makes no sense. Not being able to be completely separated (even if you had to be on the same island) ruins co-op for me.

It's a staple of my library at this point. Gameplay is a load of fun, mainly because it's incredibly chaotic, but also because there's a good number of ways to play. Balancing is ehhhhhh but you can get away with most things on the second hardest difficulty at least.

Still the best Battlefront game. Don't know why they got rid of so much people loved about this for the new one.

Better than Rise of the Tomb Raider in my opinion. Thoroughly enjoyed it on both the xbox and here, though I haven't been able to motivate myself to get all the achievements on here as well, and I needed the space for other games. The UI was one of the best things I remember about this game, though the story was pretty good too. There's a versus mode that I never checked out, but the combat in this game was actually interesting and allowed for a wider variety of approaches than you would expect.

It was hella fun but pretty buggy sometimes, and co-op would have been amazing. Really hoping State of Decay 2 addresses those things, because it would have been so much better.

I miss this style of Tales games. While the battle system is outdated now, the gritty realness of it had me interested enough to play through it twice on the Gamecube and once on here.
