Might be one of the most difficult but interesting games I've ever played. Just trying to beat it seems like a herculean task with a difficulty curve that's like a spiral. But after a certain point it clicks and you beat it. Or did you?

This is where this game get's insane. Just beating the final boss is easy and honestly can happen after a 10 or so hours of gameplay. Then you can try and get new game plus runs, orb runs, parralel world runs.

You go from being broken by the game to breaking the game and it's all so deep and fun with constant new discoveries and never the same experience twice.

I think this is the best and most complicated game I've ever played. The complicated part is a pro btw. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a massive whodunit, it's a modern day agatha christie meets steins'gate and I have nothing but praise there's moments I literally gasped in awe fro what they did.

I want to like this game I really do. But man there is some clear issues and if I'm being honest I think the devs have gone the completely wrong direction.

Let me start by saying I think the idea is great, a farming simulator with a large emphasis on magic that doesn't go full JRPG. That alone is something I could easily sink my teeth into for hundreds of hours and honestly might be ahead of the curve. I will also give praise that I do like the art direction it's different enough from it's competition while maintaining a cozy feeling. If you're just looking for a chill farming game then congrats you'll have an okay time.

Now with good and fine out of the way onto the bad. The game has some serious bugs, Mainly that most romanceable characters are glitched, saying no to a date or declining one question permanently locks you out of a romance and the only way to fix is to flat out use basically a reset friendship item. I also found often in the cave/dungeon my jumps always pluning me straight to damage despite being over a platform. Add to this the game feels kinda lifeless honestly. I was very impressed with portraits and the amount of different characters at first but once I discovered they're kinda still and feel very indifferent from eachother in interactions I did feel very dissapointed.

Finally the direction of this game is offputting to say the least. If I were to advise the dev honestly I would say fix the bugs first, get steamdeck working second (this is very important for cozy/relaxing games), and add more interactions and content finally. Instead it's been mostly from what I can tell cosmetic DLC packages. I'm not anti dlc but in a game like this seems very weird and honestly short term.

Never seen a game run worst. It took 3 times of letting the game run for several minutes without me touching the keyboard for it to finally boot.

I'll change this review to a recommendation once the performance issues are addressed. In it's current state though Elden Ring is quite frankly unplayable. The game freezes for constantly for times ranging from a few seconds to 30 seconds and seems to be entirely random on what causes this. Some users aren't getting very many performance issues while some honestly are getting game breaking crashes and unbearable issues.

If it wasn't for that this would be one of the greatest games I've played I've beared through nearly 20 hours of the mentioned above issues but it's only compounded over time and combined with a game that really pushes you with frustration it's lead to a game I can't recommend.

Great game that has the most amount of tension I've ever experienced in a videogame. Despite being AAA it really seems to not be big into the fanfare instead focusing on atmosphere and it nails that. The Alien is truly a monster in every way. Only issue is I can note is the game drags a bit in the 2nd half, also that ending. I legit thought I accidentally hit a button and skipped it just to go to youtube and discover it's that sudden and dissappointing.

This game is ridiculously difficult to learn and even more difficult to master but man is it rewarding when you finally get something down or perform well.
