The bots are out of casual and the game is finally playable again. Let's hope it stays that way.

overall this game is great but the mechanic of stamina regen pausing while you're swinging your sword makes it much less enjoyable.

"i'm low on stamina, i should run away and do absolutely nothing while staying out of the boss' range until it recharges" - genuine hatred

A short and sweet horror game with a great atmosphere and decent story. No jumpscares which is a big point for me, the only 'scares' in the game are actually pretty well-done and kinda got me a few times. If you have any interest in analog horror, this is worth the 3 dollars.

The game is good and I very much enjoy playing it, but what's the deal with putting all the towers and tier 5 upgrades behind a paywall? Now that the game's been out long enough that all the optimal loadouts and strategies have been figured out there's no reason to timelock this sort of thing. Especially considering how you cannot get Monkey Money by playing Casual, so you're forced to risk it in a Ranked game when you don't even have everything unlocked yet, facing against someone who likely does. It's a system built against new players and promotes unbalanced lobbies.

I simply cannot give this game a positive rating if I can't fully experience it without significant timesink. At least in BTD6 iit only took about an hour or two of playing, this might take weeks if I even have the patience to do it.
